I work in a lead refinery (well I did, im on workers comp, doctor wont let me go back to work because of the burns to my foor), and we had these seminars every year.

I recently bought some BEAUTIFUL red pottery from a local place. It is so gorgeous. She told me it won't be available for much longer due to lead content. This is pottery you display - it is NOT DISHES!!! NO ONE IS GOING TO LICK IT!! Oh well, maybe one day it will be really valuable.

Gotta love the work seminars huh? Every now and then I have to sit in on them too. Due to recent legislation I had to go through an "accessible customer service" programme and every now and then I have to do a safety seminar, when I'm going to be working in a construction area. Due to the type of work I do, the most that I'll have to deal with is the occasional unfinished wall section; no holes in the floor or falling cinder blocks.

So did you leave the seminar wanting to toss someone in a lead smelter?
