Ordered these from my new best friend, Al, at AmericanSportbike.com. He comes highly recommended from just about every Buell rider I've talked to. They showed up on Friday. The instructions recommend temps above 70* for good adhesion...so they aren't installed yet. That will hopefully come tomorrow.

Buell Frame pucks:

The next round of mods will be as follows:

Bar end sliders
Front and rear Axle sliders
Along with new front brake pads

Yeah. Buell does not endorse any sort of slider that bolts to the engine. :idk: They say these are better...Erik knows his bikes better than I do so I'll take his word for it.

yeah don't you remember OSP's thread? those fuckers are a PITA to get off... so much though that I imagine (now a month+ later) he still has 1 puck on the bike

odd. but then again your bike is affiliated with harly davidson and uses a belt for a final drive... might as well put some frame stickers on it and while were at it how about we tape on some desk fans and call it a turbo?

(just fuckin with ya, good upgrade, hope you dont need to use em)

It does have a fan...for the rear cylinder. It sounds like a damn rocket ship taking off when it comes on.

Nope...doing that today. The weather has been crappy for the last couple days.

Installation was a piece of cake. More accurately...a 1 beer job. Total install time was 15 minutes...10 of that was for two 5 minute waiting periods. :rockout:
