Those stats are 100% completely meaningless. It is common for cities to alter their crime data to show downward trends in crime for a myriad of reasons, one being proof that their funding is working and they need more.

The figures are obviously being determined per capita, and that tends to make the smaller states look more dangerous on paper than they actually are. i've been all over South Carolina, and there have been very few times when i thought "Fuck, i should NOT be here". I mean, we have half the population of New York City spread out over 100 times the area. :idk:

Oh she'll be fine. Just tell her not to talk to strangers, don't go out alone by herself after hours, don't walk down dark alleyways, don't try to look cute, don't give out any personal detail, etc. Get her hood rat clothing. She'll be bored, but she'll increase her chances of survival.

I can see Georgia there because all of our major cities have a horrible crime rate. Athens (University of Georgia) has a huge rape rate but it gets covered up because parents would be scared to send their daughters there and the only reason the guys go there is to bang the skanky UGA girls, which would shut the school down.
