2010 destination goals [Archive]

In 2010 I want to hit Southwestern Virginia and West Virginia for some riding. Can any of you recommend some good roads/routes?

I typically ride in NC, SC, GA, and TN but want to add VA and WVA to that list.

What states/cities do you intend to visit on the bike in 2010?

Near by I'd like to go to NC.

Further out Jersey, Texas and Oklahoma. I don't think I'll make it to either of those this year. :/ No tengo dinero.

From FL to MI on I-65 and I-69. So, Pensacola FL, Birmingham AL, Nashville TN, Bowling Green Ky, Indianapolis IN, Kalamazoo, MI and all points in between.

Maybe, but it's not a goal. I've got some mileage goals I wanna hit, but who are we kidding...I'll be well short of those.

Not necessarily. There's more than enough good roads in the Commonwealth.

I would love to go but I don't think I'm going to be able to convince hubby in going.

We are planning a Memorial weekend ride with some friends so that will get me out of Ohio. I just hope he doesn't change his mind.. he is worse than a damn woman!!!

I knew that was coming. I wouldn't do that too him. He was nearly a basket case when I had to go to Charlotte in early March for 5 days and that was on 4 wheels. Just thinks the worse will happen, not because he doesn't trust me but because there are so many weirdos in this world.
