My wife is addicted to farmville. She even used to log onto my account and send herself "gifts". I finally told her to knock that shit off and she stopped logging onto my account.

One friend railroaded me into getting a FB account, just so that I could communicate with her "more easily." I thought that email and the telephone had been working well enough, but apparently not.

Then the requests from other IRL friends started coming in.

Then the requests from people who knew me, but who I've been avoiding for years because I just don't like them.

Then from people I don't know.

Fuck.

I don't even bother to deny the requests. I just literally ignore them.

My ex and I have been apart for awhile and it wasn't a knockdown drag out when we parted but it was still kind of weird to see her on there requesting to be my friend. We didn't have kids so I don't really see a need for us to keep in contact.

You can block their posts. To the right of one of their wall posts there should be some kind of option box. Can't remember exactly what it says but it's something like, "Hide all posts from this member." You also hide all those annoying Mafia wars and Farmtown updates and requests for farm tools!
