This guy or girl just cost me $3K

Been two months since we have been to our San Juan island home. First day wife cooking dinner, see's this guy or gal, in back yard, takes picture. I inspect outside find where latice is ripped off.
Make long story short familly of otters have been living under home:evil:
Washington state law only owner of home can kill otters. Did not want to kill otters, so contractor went under home. Sprayed chemical that makes them not come back, also put up double wire fence protecting getting under home.:cheers:

These are river otters which live on land. Good thing weather still cool, these guys had setup home under house complete with kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms. Contractor cleaned out bunch of oyster shells, crab shells and such, along with lots of crap under house. Wife has lots of bird feeders in back yard, contractor said he found lots of bird remains under house.
Come summer time the stink would have been BAD.
For being destructive they dug under foundation, also ripped insulation down to build nests.
