Good news!

As some of you may know, I have been taking prenursing courses and busting my hump.

I just got in the mail today my acceptance letter to the nursing program!:rockwoot: Its going to be an accelerated track so instead of 2 years of clinicals, I'll be going to school year round, taking more classes and getting my clinicals done in a year!

Congrats. My g/f is an RN and was telling me just last night how difficult the clinicals were. She also told me how a friend of hers has been working on a 31 page paper for the past month that is due Wednesday. She tried to change the margins on the paper and something caused her computer to crash. She lost the entire paper and doesn't have a backup. I tell you this to remind you to always backup your work before making any changes, as you'll have enough stress in your life from the clinicals. ;)

Black- My schools scrubs are going to be khaki colored- they picked the most unflattering color out there.

good for you, BSN is the way to go, be ready to work harder then you ever have......but the result is worth it.

A lot of it depends on where you wind up working. I always tease donna working on the oncology floor telling her she does nothing all day and pushes meds :lol:

ER and ICU are prolly the most demanding jobs for nurses and usualy want people with expierence because there is a lot to do and you need to do stuff quickly at times.
