...cuz then you can go and get it dirty again. :D
started with the header pipe:
Before:

After (almost there - didn't want to spend my whole lunch break on it so I'll come back to it later):

Then I figured I'd rinse the bike off:

Then I figured, aw what the hell, may as well polish it as well (Turtle Wax Ice):

A little closer:

(don't mind the freshly waxed chain - chain guard turned out pretty good but the sticker will be coming off soon):

From the middle:

Instruments cleaned up nicely:

Even the turn signals turned out pretty decent:

Me too!
I had TL (Daves chick) clean my bike for me the other day before we shot off to philly to meet with marko and gasman. She got right down on her knees and started rubbing it out, all I had to do was ask once.

Looks spotless. I never get that detailed. I usually do the soap and water thing. Dry it good. Take good care of the chain, and we're off.
BTW...My wife had a mutual customer of our come into her office today given her shit about me "downsizing" to the SV. I found it hilarious because he owns a Hayabusa and a Harley. :lol

You started it!! Nyahh, nyahh!! BTW that Pink GSXR would wipe the floor with you, buddy!!! How embarrassing would THAT be! Actually, I'm VERY proud of her! Her corner speed is excellent, both entry and exit. Her lines are good and she is learning not to fixate. I still have to work with her on getting off the bike more but she is well above the average rider around here. Heck, we were riding with a couple guys last week and she left them for dead.:rockwoot:

That sucks. How'd he crash?
I just ride my own ride. I know there are people who can outride me and I'm good with that.

Prety bad highside, last time I ran with him in 08 we had some good battles and I had just gotten into intermediate. I thought I was good battling with him then I heard his story, and thought that sucks and he has the skill to pass me at will and leave me in the dust
Hes def picked it up, granted I was not up to my old speed by any means but he was def motorin on that thing.

3 years really makes a difference in paint quality, plus add farm dirt in the wind. Poor girl really needs a paint job. Seems like every time I look down, there's another chip on the tank. Then there seems to be more and more scuffing/spider webs (not counting my slide). The smoothest part is the rear seat cover. Then I rub my hand on the tail right behind the rear seat cover and its so NOT smooth. Makes me sad.
