Yeah, but that's not why I won't be taking pics for it. I don't have any non-functional mods. Hell, I don't even have any mods right now.

I got this, non functional mods... Pics to follow. So just to clarify, a pic of the wife on the bike counts as non functional right?

TYEster

Is it really that hard?

Stickers, too many sliders, extended swingarms for street bikes, chrome anything, blacked out windscreen, painted wheels, "replica" paintjobs, I mean... "nonfunctional mods" meaning you don't need it to ride but you have it anyway. :bash::idk:

Yeah, I was thinking you meant to be anything cosmetic, for the most part. Again, none on my bike cause I haven't modded it at all. I will be doing some minor mods soon, but they all have a function (gel seat, GPS mount, throttle lock, "trunk", etc. :D )

I actually wasn't trying to single you out, however your thread about your new chain adjusters and all the axle sliders just happened to be what I was reading at the time I had to come up with something.

I know this is actually a petty theme, I just get tired of seeing the same boring HiDef pics of stock bikes.

*BTW not sure what the Shock/Swingarm closeup picture denotes, and quite the contrary none of that looks unnecessary.

Especially those windscreens you can't see through? Ok :idk:

Extended swingarms are not necessary on streetbikes. Unless for whatever reason you drag race every where.

That still doesn't mean you are functional. I would say you are wrong on the percentage given a lot of the CF people have a lot of skill.

And it was a joke, so don't get your panties in a wad or we will have to make you an honorary ginger.

If that bike is running 8s* with a stock swingarm, then extended ones are for looks.

*it does

not my point
i edited for clarity

8's on a stock armed bike is quite do-able im well aware of that lol
but, add three inches and he'll go quicker, all things being the same. there arent any low 7 second bikes with stock length swingarms. probably a reason for that ;)

Reading Comprehension FTW... I said FUNCTIONAL not Quality... or Skill.

I've probably ridden more lately than 90% of the people on the board (25,000 miles in 13 months). never said I was more talented or skilled never will...

and if you'd have read it correctly... you'd see that my reply was a joke too.

functional - capable of operating

That was the joke, I was making fun of you because you are incapable of operating a motorcycle. If you want to get into the butthurt definitions of operating, yes operating could involve something as simple starting it up or going to the store or as my joke was refering to capable of operating the motorcycle to the limit which would mean to a high level of skill. Capable of operating doesn't specify a quantity of usage.

It's official you're ginger.
