$79 for semi-nosebleed. Jesus, get out of DC.
The other couple that I'm going with paid nearly $800 per seat, but right up front

Right, but spending $800? In all seriousness, I like Pink Floyd and I'd go see this guy for $50 or so but no more than that.

I agree, no way I'd spend that kind of money.

Yea I gotta agree with that. Looks like I can't get tickets much cheaper for the show here either, and I wouldn't even think of spending that kind of money to see Rogers, Gilmour or Rick Wright's ghost.
Especially considering that they whole point of Pink Floyd is anti-fucking people over for money.

Yeah, Waters has always been the businessman of the group. Even though he is a self proclaimed douche, Floyd would have never made it without his vision. Syd and Gilmour were definitely the creative geniuses of the group, and Waters was the showman. Roger and Syd were lifelong friends, but Roger put that friendship behind them when Syd got so fucked up. Sort of ruthless, but to be respected at the same time. Pink Floyd could not have survived if ole Syd hadn't been sacked. Given the quality and timeless nature of their work, it was a pretty damn good combination.
