I'll be taking the back roads down to Grove, OK Friday night after work...spending the day Saturday doing a big loop through NW Arkansas and SW Missouri before returning to Grove Saturday night....ride some Sunday morning and head back to Kansas after lunch.

Anyone have local knowledge about the "must ride" roads and/or "must try" places to eat in that area?

I'll be in NW Arkansas riding all weekend - http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=522680

I doubt I'll be anywhere you could find me during the day Saturday, though. I'll be in the woods.

Oh yeah . . . stop in Oark for lunch. Get the pie.

I will also be in Arkansas from Wed-Sunday. Here's our planned route (Kerry and I did this same route in 11 hours a few weeks ago. Will be nice to have a few days to take in the sights this time)

Hehehe...yeah...the M109-R isn't much for the offroad stuff. I hardly recognize it at the moment..have the windscreen, sissy bar, t bag and saddle bags all mounted and ready to go. I only bolt that stuff on for the longer over the road rides...in storage otherwise.

I'll give Oark a shot as we'll be in that area riding the Pig Trail...thanks!

I'm sure I'll be on the Pig trail at some point Saturday, but I really have no idea when. We'll be hitting Turner Bend for fuel and snacks.

Seems like you have all the primo routes marked...You may like Rogers this weekend, it is Bikes, Blues and Hot Rods Too MC Rally. Blue Oyster Cult, Georgia Satellites,

On the downside there will be traffic and cops galore.

Damn, is everyone invading Arkansas this weekend? I'm meeting some friends in Clarksville, AR and we'll be riding the area all weekend, including the Pig Trail. :D Keep an eye out for the Busa!

There is a group rallying in Gassville, Ar this weekend as well. Everything from GSXRs to BMWs. My wife's B day is Saturday, so I don't know my sched or itenerary...

Had a blast in the Ozarks this weekend. Nothing but great roads and weather. No tickets, spills etc. Got some great pics and video. can't wait to head out there again.

We are real blessed to have some of the best roads right in our back yard. And if you have a dual sport it is twice as rewarding. I have one on my shopping list...

We killed it too...had a BLAST. No tickets...no offs....just one lost toe peg off the shifter of my friends 1985 HD Sporters....we jury rigged it with a bolt from a battery terminal kit we bought from a convenience store in Kansas, OK and were on our way...You would think a HD owner would be a shareholder in the Lock Tite corporation, right? LOL

Didn't think the Pig Trail lived up to expectations...but...route 62 out of Eureka Springs was awesome...as was route 90 in Missouri.

A good friend of mine just moved to Little Rock, AR...I can see alot more trips to that area in the future. :rockwoot:

The ADV guys are putting all of their ride reports from this past weekend in one spot . . . mine's tucked in there somewhere, too - http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=582479
