Where'd you get them at? I need to get a set of 190/55 and 120/70. Lowest I've found is 300 shipped.

just be easy on them in the wet and cold, they don't heat up quick. I don't use em on the street, just track.

i always ride easy in the rain, and they'll be used up by the time it gets cold again.

what type of warm up time are we talking about? anything that will pose a problem? i know PP's claim hey have the fastest warming compound, but honestly is it that big a difference?

There is a very big difference. My powers perform after 2-3 turns compared to a lap or more on the corsas. I will probably try the 2ct's next. The corsas are badass in dry warm conditions though.

word. I only got the corsas cause i found them for 2 dollars less than i did he 2cts. I've used PP's and loved em, but 2 buck is 2 bucks. I aint no fucking bank.

I am going to keep just getting regular pp's for the street. I can't reach their peak performance and they are cheaper and last longer than 2cts or corsa IIIs.

agreed. I had no qualms w/ the PP's last year, and riding doesnt get any more agressive than that on a street.

Im hopeing to do a track day soon after deals gap though, so i figured i'd just step it up before hand. they're built for street riding, so we'll see how they do.

I'm probly going back to the PP's after the Corsa's wear out...which won't be long.

I'm going to the Rosso's after this last Diablo rear.

I too love the corsa's, but wear is an issue.
Need to keep something on it that is trackable, but will wear longer. Not sure if I'll go to a PP or a PR2...

I got great wear out of my Pilot Powers. I'd like to try the 2CT's as well.

I would go with the roads or another high mileage tire.

Yeah, the road 2 is probably a good call for that.

I run Pilot Roads on my SV. Price is good and i can get about 14,000 miles out 1 back tire. Good high mileage tire not as sticky as pilot powers but good enough for what i use them for and are rated better for the rain also.

Commuting: Zero miles. All twisty. Almost 5000 on them now...good for atleast another 1.5-2000 miles.

hmm... so with my commuting i might get 5K out of 'em.
that's not terrible.

I thought about it, but they are not really trackable.

I would run pilot road 2's in your case. I think they will be fine on the track and should hold up better commuting. At least try em once and see how many commuting miles you can get out of them.

I've heard of several people running the strada's and doing track days... :idk: granted they're not going to do as well as the Powers or Oorsa III's but what are you going to do more of? track riding or commuting?

i've had great success with my Continental Sport Attacks and Road Attacks....

If i weren't with those, i'd go back to Pirellis.....never had a problem with the Scorpion Synchs that i had on there..

You my friend are a perfect candidate for trying the Dunlop 616s. I tried them on my bike and didn't like them. They were too "tall" or something but I bet they would be the shit on your bike!

i've read on too many forums that the Dunlops have a short life span....i don't want to be looking at replacing tires every 4 months...

Gee,I wish I could make it four months on a set of tires! Someone else aid that they get 14,000 miles on a rear tire! I get approx. 10,000 on a front and 5000 on a rear.

As far as the Dunlop 616s go,I guess that makes sense as they're Dunlops rain race tire with a slightly harder compound. They were super sticky but they "fell" into corners alittle too hard for my tastes.

Nah,I've been lazy and I've been tearing up my patched 190 before I take it off and throw it away. It's only got about 1000 miles on it. I'll probably go to bike night Wed and burn it up and put the new tire on Thurs/Fri. I'll let you all know how it comes out but I think it'll be similar to the handling I have now. Besides with the mods and adjustments I have now,the thing turns in super easy,so a "slight" loss of turn in won't hurt me. I HOPE!

My damn PP's are starting to slip now. They had fantastic traction for the first 4K miles and now they are slipping on almost any aggressive turn.. There is still some tread left too.

Hmmm..that's what I experienced as well. I've only used PPs once and went back to Bridgestone/Dunlop (not as sticky initially but consistent to the end) and now Pirrelli (which I'm liking very much!
