Mid Ohio July 8th KTM school

Will be heading to mid ohio in july to rock out 4 ktms including hte rc8 and rc8R:rockwoot:

275 for the day and you get 4 bikes to ride, havent been out there yet but heard its a fun track, although apparently they just put down some sealant.

my friend dave had one and wound up selling it because it was too stiff on the street :?: hes a little flighty in some ways so its not a surprise, last year I wanted to do a session on it at the track but we wound up in different groups so I couldnt pull it off. :(

The way it looks now were driving out on wednesday and we will stay thurs night and head home fri morning so maybe we can arrange something for dinner and a few cold ones.

The chicane is right after the start, after a 90* left right after you go under the bridge. some people call it the keyhole when its open, but sometimes its closed.

OK. You threw me off when you said back stretch. I call that the front straight since that is where they start. Yes, the keyhole is pretty sweet. My favorite is the carousel.

ahh well it all depends on who you talk to. I alwasy figure the long straight is the main straight, but usually people say the first straight is the one w/ the start point.

Either way, that chicane can completely change the first half of that lap.

Ok as of now I think were leaving raly early on wed and should be out near the track around 3 ish if all goes well. We may head over to cleveland to check out the rock and roll hall of fame and do some touristy stuff.

After the track day we plan on dinner and many beers esp since were staying the extra night so if any of you guys can make it out LMK
