Anybody else waiting on a Droid Incredible?

I ordered an Incredible from the Verizon store on 05/21. I'm just kinda curious to see how long its taken some other people to get theirs. They said they weren't allowed to say it'll ship sooner than 06/03...but that people have been getting them much sooner.

Probably just some sales bullshit, but I dunno.

Not really sure. I think the HTC Evo is going to be regarded as superior to the Incredible because the screen is bigger.

The advantage over the N1 is being able to use Verizon and get the discount I guess.

Sprint doesn't even offer their vaunted 4G here in the Bay Area (one of the first places they SHOULD have offered it, if they had a fucking clue).

The multi touch works better on the incredible than the N1. I think there are a few improved odds and ends on the increbile over the N1 as well. The EVO is just a bigger version of it with 4G ability.

I forgot about the finger tracking. There are some vids out there showing how much more accurate it is on the Incredible than the N1.

My wife and I both have iPhone 3G's. I'm considering jumping ship and moving to Verizon for a pair of Androids once our contract expires (Jan 2011).

I was a Sprint customer for 10+ years and finally got away from them. I couldn't be happier and refuse to go back.

Multi-touch in: Browser, Dolphin pro and gallery work flawlessly.
Not only the digitizer but the "program" must be able to interpret the digitizers input.....i think.. :skep:

Gotta say though the incredible looks pretty damn cool...

Tell that to every reviewer of these phones, the multi touch isn't as clean and is something that was rectified for the EVO and Incredible. It was a known issue.

That's another thing, the incredible is a 8MP camera which works actually pretty damn well for a cell phone.

I was just up at the Verizon store playing with it because I'm getting Incredibly impatient.

I hopped onto twfix.com, the full site, and BAM! instant loading on the 3G network. It must be 5x as fast as my iPhone loading this forum up. And the screen is so clear that you don't have to zoom in as much to read text.

Goddamn that phone gives me a chub.

Got to use the Incredible for a day.... just awesome.

You don't really need a bigger screen, its quite big enough. The first thing I did with it was load the full version of TWF. It was as fast as some laptops. The touch screen is much better IMO than my buddies Eris. Very responsive. Great definition and color. And the 8mp camera is FANTASTIC!!!

Now to budget the extra $30 a month for the data plan...... hmmmmmm..... :scratch:

06/03/10 and still no Incredible. It hasn't shipped and my account hasn't been set up. Verizon is now telling me they're estimating a ship date of 06/08/10 for my Incredible. I'm sure when I call back on that date it'll be pushed back another 5 days.

I'm headed up to the Verizon store today to cancel my order and get a refund on the accessories. I don't like being dicked around.

My sister got her Incredible a little over week after ordering.
However she's black so it was obviously due to affirmative action.

I'm not even going to bother. I've played around with all these snazzy smartphones and I just can't justify ponying up for a $30 a month data plan.

(However, if the iPhone comes to Verizon my wife is going to get it cause she is addicted her (iTouch) word game. If she gets an iPhone then I'm jumping on dataplan fancy phone bandwagon. The Justification will be "Well if she gonna cost us $30 a month to do that scrabble game I'm gonna spend another $30 to look at porn on the go...er...uh...I'm mean use GPS)
