Bat?

I need some help on figuring something out since I havent come up with a plan yet. I need to come up with a way to carry a baseball bat on a motorcycle that will be safe for about a 20-30 mile trip with parts at highway speeds. Any suggestions?

Im considering trying the bungie to the side idea as I had thought of it before but not sure how comfortable its going to be since Id probably have to have a leg over it or something. We'll see.

But no, they pay up quick. Gotta keep the hos in check so they keep the payments prompt.

You could tie it to your back "Blade" style. You know,make a sling by tying a rope to the handle and back towards the end. I once carried a tire like that for 20-30 miles.

I carried an umbrella in a backpack on the back of my husband's bike once...I looped it around the backpack handle. Maybe zip tie it to the backpack? :idk:

for best results,it should be on an angle. Straight up and down will want to fall off to the side. You know what this reminds me of...Mad Max! Otherwise,I like Colleen's idea of attaching it to the side of your backpack. If you put it inside,whatever secures the top should hold it in place. Anyway,goodluck.

Check out a sporting goods store for a bag made specifically for bats/ baseball equipment. Should be able to find a smallish one to throw on like a backpack. That way it won't move around and it;ll sit lower.

:lol: If you have the typical long exhaust up the side of your bike, you could always strap the bat to that. Give it some stylish burn marks- or wrap it in foil.

Thats a good point. Hopefully itll stay put for the most part. A lot of the ride is pretty straight so Im hoping it wont slide much.

Gas is cheaper on the bike and the boring ride down Rt 8 is better if I can at least be on 2 wheels. We have 3 or 4 bats on the team so if someone that has one doesnt show up or people forget them then we dont have much choice on what to use.

Good to see that you can get wound up that easy MP. And also nice to see that the whole concept of preferring to ride over driving is completely lost on both of you. I merely asked for suggestions on ways to still carry my bat because like I said Id PREFER to ride. Quit being dense and try to grasp this very simple concept. weather is good.. its actually a handicap to be intellectually superior to the masses as well as better looking..

i basically spew hate wherever i go.. but sometimes i spot stupidity and have to call it out.. honey attracts more bees but napalm is far more effective and i love the smell of napalm in the morning..

so yes i basically hit the internet to vent and use it as an aggression tool so i don't beat some motherfucker to death with a bat that they can't figure out where to put on their bike..

and jo i prefer to ride your mom.. 4 out of 5 guys do as well.. payday is busy at her place.. thank you and gfy..

with all these new friends i might not have room at my next party..

Yea,what's wrong with a guy wanting to ride his bike? I don't think it's extra dangerous or anything,so why not? Heck,I used to attach a milk carton to my bike so I could transport things more easily. Anything to increase the bike to car ratio is a good thing to me.

i never said you were having an aneurysm in your head. i was thinking more of an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
