Type the first thing that comes to your mind when you see a storage unit with two locks. Don't think about it, don't look at other's post, just the first thing that comes to mind.

People who have boats and can't(not allowed) store them at their house for 1.

I'm talking about the storage units - paying to store something that potentially holds or goes up in value I get. But to pay $100 a month on crap that's worth $100 TOTAL (and dropping) blows my mind.

Must be something valuable in there unless there is a tag on one of the locks and then I think that they are behind on their rent.

Depends on how the locks are connected. Single hasp and 2 eyes-2 person entry. Single eye with 2 locks connected-either lock opens door.

Best answer-Deadbeat.

Due to budget cuts, we can no longer maintain the various silos around the country. CBO has concluded that it would be more cost effective to keep America's nuclear deterrent in commercial storage facilities. To prevent accidental or malicious launch of nuclear weapons by a single individual, the two-man rule is still in effect.
Two men

I dot have my own play so i have no where to put it. Im not going to sell all my tools an expensive stuff for less than what i paid and start all over again. I have my bike in there now so more security is nice but i dot want more attention.

So you are concerned what it will look like if you have 2 locks on there? I look at it like this. If they have bolt cutters they can just as easily cut 2 as they could 1. Locks only keep honest people honest.

I have these tight round ones. You'd have to torch them off.

Know they know you have something valuable in there. if i was a thief, I'd want to break in on principle.:lol

Ever moved between homes and needed a temporary storage solution for all of your belongings? What about if your job requires you to keep a crap load of product samples, brochures, etc. - you want to use your own garage for that shit or would you rent space and expense it? What if you need somewhere to store an old antique car and your therapist's decapitated head in a jar of formaldahyde?

....your therapist's decapitated head in a jar of formaldahyde?

This is the first thing I think of with storage units in general.

For me, it was the easy way to get my ex-husband to pick up his stuff. I moved it to storage - then if he wanted it he either had to take it or keep paying the bill. Solved my problem at the time beautifully.
