really, I'm not sure who is at fault, the car for turining in front of the bike or the bike for speeding

Both are at fault.
Both are at fault.
Really? I mean how hard is it to judge the speed of a moving bike? The bike was hauling ass, and if the car thought he was pretty far away...

the missing piece of the puzzle is the topography from the direction of where the bike came from. If it's a blind hill or a corner then there would be no way to judge.

I didn't notice a turn signal from the car. So failure to yield and failure to use turn signal would be their crime but the bike ultimately held the majority of the fault since he was hauling major ass.
Does anyone know if the rider lived? My guess is no.

Depends on local laws, that didn't look like it was in the US

Def not in the US, but dayum. You'd think someone would have responded more than just slowly walking towards them and just staring...

He dead. Yes, both are at fault. Traveling faster than the posted speed limit is against the law. Why is that so hard to understand? Not using your blinker and not yielding is against the law.

That dude is for sure dead. I doubt he even had time to go "Oh shit". At the least he went from 60mph to 0 in 3 feet. That car didn't really budge other than some tipping.
My guess is if the motorcycle wasn't hauling ass and doing maybe normal speeding the bike would had to have a get on the brakes somewhat hard, flick driver off, and continue going bitching about cagers. I'd defentily put more fault on the motorcycle. It also looked like a pretty busy area to be hauling ass like that too.

Too bad the rider wasn't.
In Ontario right of way laws trump other laws(speeding, etc)

Unfortunatly, I see the biker being at fault here. He/she was clearly going faster than all other vehicles on the road. However, the car didn't have a turn signal and did not yield. These facts are often communicated in the report from the rider of the bike, however, due to the lack of movement and lack of any kind of first aid action from the bystanders I doubt he is alive. In fact, I have seen accidents like this first hand, and that rider probably has stuff poking out of him in all kinds of directions.
I hate to see bikers get jacked up like that, but it was really his own fault.
