Probably something similar to the guy on the SV that rode straight into a tree. My guess is that this guy hadn't ridden a motorcycle in years, but still had his endorsement and just decided to go buy a Harley. Hopped on and didn't realize that it's not just like riding a bike.

:iagree: I highly doubt this guy knew what he was doing. I don't think he had ridden before either cus he didnt know any throttle control. Unless he just rode 50's around.

Either that or one of those freak things where he hit it wrong and it broke his neck or something.

Remember that next time you're just going for a quick spin...

That reminds me about a story I heard in my MSF. My instructor had spent something like 20 years as a county bike sheriff and had to respond to a call about a guy that dropped his bike and according to the witnesses thats basically all he did. He stopped at a light, went to put his foot down, slipped and fell over. Managed to hit his head on a rock hard enough that he died from it.

I do remember seeing someone post a story about someone trying to park their bike in the garage it was a 250... the clutch slipped and he fell back and cracked his head and died... wasn't even going 7mph...
