To my surprise, a fox

Saturday I'm out in the back yard soaking up the sun. Liam starts barking up near our fence line in the back yard. I get the binoculars to see what he is carrying on about. I think I see something but can't tell for sure, so I slowly approach to find this....

I made Erik come up there to see himself since I knew he wouldn't believe me otherwise.

Do you guys have the pups yip at night??? That is the creepiest sound when one loses its mother.

We think he was a pup since he wasn't very big. He didn't run when I took Erik up there either. We thought it was sick or something, so Erik got a stick to poke it but it ran away. Seemed find to us at that point. He was a quick little guy.

We heard them all night and about every night.

Looks young and is probably why it didn't run away. Foxes are usually scared of humans. Funny story is I was walking through some woods and came within 5 ft of a Fox. We both had an "oh shit" look on our faces and we both kind of stood there for a second before we both kind of backed away. I wish I could have seen that from an outside perspective.

Though I think Foxes have crappy eyesight.
