So, with the monumental fuck up that is CAPCOM's MotoGP 09/10, I am looking to spend my money elsewhere. And I think I have found a suitable alternative. SBK X..... anybody have it yet???

No, but I played last year's and it's pretty good. And they didn't have WSS in it. I'm literally going out to look for/buy right now. After I check and see if it's even out.

Hell yes. Or get CAPCOM off the project. I have GP 2008, but that was produced by Milestone. This year's game is produced by Momentum, while Milestone jumped ship to go work on SBK X.

Yup, thats what I said. The 360 shots look better than the PS3 and PC shots. Which is weird, because a good PC should be better.

MotoGP 09/10 is a far, far better game then that piece of crap. I downloaded the SBK X demo after Dave reccomended. Wasted fucking bandwidth is what it was, even though I dont actually pay for that bandwidth.

Moto GP 09/10 is an arcadey piece of junk. I'm a hardcore sim racing fan.... and I cant stand when you can play pinball with Moto GP bikes. All the little checkpoint bits they add just take away from the actual racing. Focus on the fucking racing and make IT better instead of tacking shit on. Oh, my buddy was telling me that your "fat bastard" sounding crew cheif talks to you during races? When is there ever verbal communication during a motorcycle race???

tourist trophies physics were good as well as the control once you stepped it up to the hardest level. Moto GP is too kiddy.

I know how much you guys hate nascar, but the papyrus nascar games were the biggest forerunner to some of the most realistic racing that you could do on the internet. Serious fucking racing and total car setup realism. The nascar 2003 racing engine can still be seen in www.iracing.com. A lot of drivers use it for training. It's a monthly subscription racing game.

There are mods for the nascar game that had gt racing and indy racing with road courses. It was sick. I use to do a lot of work with that game and some of my stuff is still out there because a lot of people still play that shit.

Are you talking about FIA GTR 1 & 2. The game that uses the real MOTEC software that the teams use? Full 24 hour races. Definitely got it, definitely sick....

Papyrus produced some fantastic games. I still have Nascar 2003 sitting next to my computer.

So the first time I played it I hated it. But I've been slowly getting myself used to it. And definitely playing it on my brother's sub par laptop with framerate problems doesnt help. I think when I can find a 360 copy I will pull the trigger.
