Anyone had any experience with any of these cameras? Ive heard a lot about the Contour HD and the Tachyon but little to none about the others. Give me your opinion I have a big list of things i am wanting to get over the next few months.

don't bother, it's not worth it. You will use it for a month or two and then realize how dumb it is and not use it anymore.

i use the gopro and as far as mounting options it is great.. not user friendly at all though.. editing of course is a pain in the ass.. i have a lot of video i just took at the dragon, etc. and i am way behind in editing.. here is a sample video i did - after launching the gopro at 40+mph onto the pavement and scratching the lens.. its surprisingly resilient..

Lol well it would of been nice to have one for the rally. Thats the kind of reason im really wanting it. To record my riding and my friends when we go to the mountains or whenever i finally get the chance to go to the track. I dont intend on keeping it hooked up all the time. Its just an every now and then thing.

Yea i would want something a little more user Friendly. But that looks great. And i think its probably the most resilient because of the external plastic case.

Man it is tough - first time i didn't clip it in all the way and it launched at 40mph when i hit the brakes.. and second time i had it suction cup mounted (note: always clean the bike and suction cup - dirty bike and dirty suction cup = fail) it flew off, i didn't see it, a car ran over it and sketch recovered it..

so all my stupidity led to $19 invested in a new lens.. oh well..

i like to have it to record the really good rides.. like last week i was at the dragon.. its great for that..

i just purchased a Nikon D3000 DSLR camera too and that is outstanding to add stills to videos..
