Just for the record...
I am 99% sure my Buell fucking up was my fault... pinched a wire somewhere when I put it back together...
I'd buy another one.

Seriously. I felt like shit ruining the trip like that... Nothing I could have forcasted, the shit was fine for 800 or so miles... It happens though... Part of the motorcycle experience. Drewpy was coolio about it which meant a lot. I know he was frustrated as well though...

yea man, i really felt for you. my bike died at the end of the gap trip last year and i had to get drewpy in tow w/ dad (and i think PS was there) to get it in the back of the pickup, and i felt similarly. i can only imagine if you multiplied how i felt then by 100 i'd begin to understand your scenario.
That family is just bad luck, people. if you want your bike to work do not go on trips with them.

I'd love to give you the lowdown on the PR2's, but my fucking bike did not last long enough to test them for real...
I'll forgo the type asshole response about Buells or whatnot and ask you with true concern and in honest friendship, what happened?

Hmmmmm, strange how the Peacock bikes don't have problems...... maybe it is the Peocock's bad luck to go on trip with people with bad bikes......

But they WILL ruin your bike with their voodoo.

That's a pain in the ass. Loose connections, grounding issues, etc etc.... those kind of wiring things are such a bitch because it's always something stupid and you chase it for so long. Hope you can get it all back together and tip-top shape soon.
