Woohoo! the wife just gave me permission to buy a KLR. Just gotta spend some time time on craigslist when I get an internet connection in my new house.

So in the mean time, if anyone stumbles across a klr for 2500 or less with hard bags and the doohikey upgrade let me know. I would prefer one made after 2003. They are out there, I have seen a few for sale like that but havnt had the ability to buy it. A large gas tank would be cool too. And I dont mind going up and down the east coast, NC to CT

Dohicky is the cam chain tightener that kawi designed bad and will cause the engine to explode.

Its a better deal than I could have gotten anywhere else in the northeast, plus it has all the accessories I would have put on it except the x tr a large gas tank, prolly saved me 1500
