ours has gotten too hot 1x , so we turned it off, never felt like sueing apple.

My iphone got too hot when I left it in my car, gave me a warning. Yeah, it sucked that it needed to cool off. OTOH, my phone kept itself from being damaged and needing to be replaced. So there's that. I like my iPhone, maybe there are better phones out there, but I like mine. As for the iPad, I think it's cool, but unnecessary. However, while there are other phones that might be better than iPhone, what better options for a lightweight portable tablet-style device are out there?

What the iPad haters fail to realize is, not everyone wants to open up a netbook and type on a keyboard. Touchscreens are just a lot easier to use while standing/walking. Yeah yeah, the iPad is just a giant iTouch, no shit......But what's it's competition?
