So I'm trying to sell my bike and put an ad on Craigslist about 3pm...but it still hasn't shown up. I keep searching for it, and its not there. But when I tried to repost it told me I was posting an ad just like the one I already posted. Here's the link they sent me...

http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/mcy/1881033465.html

Any ideas??

Yeah, either you, or your ISP is caching sumpin.

I got it.

Shift + F5, do it ten times, and it might even clear an upstream cache.

Well I can click on the link and see the ad, but I can't see it in the main listing...

Try another browser. Rule out it's not some fucked up local caching (though it won't rule out upstream).

Nope, tried IE Explorer and that didn't work. I had my Dad check and he couldn't find it either.

Wierd... the link works but if I search for your title it doesn't come up.

Email them.

Yea, exactly. Weird.

I guess I'll email them, I didn't know you could do that,

You can email "them" all you want - no one answers. There is no "them" I'm sure of it.

I say, delete what might think is listed in your Account - and relist it.

When I search for "Honda Magna" I get only this one: http://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/mcy/1879027756.html

There never was a them.

It was us all along.

Ok, I deleted the original and set up a different ad under a different email address and it worked. What a pain in the ass!!

So, now, someone buy my motorcycle!

You can't delete and re-list within a certain time (I think you have to wait 48 hours or something like that).

I've had Craigslist 'eat' postings... just delete it and resubmit...

Then it would appear that you have discovered the mighty "craigslist black hole".

Alert the NAACP immediately, and it will probably be removed.
