Lame is right.
The article didn't "call out" anyone. It kissed the ass of those who haven't signed up yet because they are too busy with their own foundations.
I like the Walton's approach: "No I'm not giving my money away. No I'm not telling you why."

Then you wouldn't mind being taxed at that rate either?

Fuck that.... tax the rich, they can afford it.
Fuck that.... tax the rich, they can afford it.
Fuck that. Stop fucking spending.
Fuck that. Stop fucking spending.
Exactly. When someone goes broke you don't yell at them for not earning enough to cover their expenses.

Fuck that. Its their money they should do what they want with it. They are billionaires. If they are succumbing to peer pressure they are little bitches anyway.
On the tax issue, starting next year it is unlikely that a billionaire will have an estate tax under 50% of their gross assets. This year there is no estate tax so Steinbrenner chose the right time to die for passing his wealth to his family.

Almost as dumb as saying...well they can afford it. It's fucking retarded.
Democrats are all for taxing people more until the tax burden comes upon them. Fucking hypocrites.

Another announcement that's missing from The Press; notice that Mark Riddix is willing to give away half his shit.

They'd probably be happy with that.
Fuck that, I wouldnt give half my money to charity if I was a billionaire either... And I wouldnt be shy to say why. Because its my fucking money, thats why.

Nobody would, but who would be harmed more by such a tax rate, the rich or the poor?
This country has had a progressive tax rate for, what, 100 years at least? So the fact that the rich have more of the burden is nothing new.
You guys act like a flat tax or a consumption tax would help rein in government spending. LOL, they'd just set it at a level that actually INCREASES the amount they rake in. And you'd be the ones to blame, because you voted for them and didn't do shit to stop them.

Unlike Bush the junior, Rosy figured out that you actually have to PAY for a war.
That shit ain't free, and there's no discount if you start two.

Wow, 94% tax rate at one time. Ridiculous. Although, I think those tax rates only affected a few people back then.
I'm not rich (far from it actually) but I think it's pretty screwed up to make the richest people pay for everything. Most of them earned their money by being smart and/or by working their asses off. Many of them also learned how to save and budget their money wisely. They didn't get there by squandering their money on toys and other BS, all the while sitting around complaining about being screwed. Sure, it's great of them to give to charity, but to tax them just because they're rich? Nah, that's some BS. Sure, they still have more than most normal folks have, even after being taxed at insane amounts, but that still doesn't make it right. And the biggest bunch of BS is the estate tax. Someone earned a living, saved their money, which was already taxed when they earned it, and now it gets taxed again just because they died and left it to their family. There is some serious BS going on there.
