They are REALLY reaching on most of those... btw the Flintstones wasn't originally marketed as a "children's" show but was the Simpsons of it's day, so some light adult humor is normal. They drank alcohol, smoked, gambled, had strippers/go go dancers, had children, fought over money...all kinds of adult themes.

dude, nothing for ren and stimpy? nothing about powdered toast man flying around ass first and demanding people cling "tenaciously" to his buttocks? FAIL

Ren and Stimpy never was for kids. I remember having to stay up late to see it.

I loved watching Rocko's Modern Life. I've always wanted a picture of a sad clown in an iron lung.

A lot of penis love in those. Are you saying that the guys that write for SpongeBob are gay?

I had spotted the Flintstones dick joke many years ago. The others are mostly new to me, although I think my kid pointed out the Sponge Bob one to me previously.

There was some rather wild shit in some of the older cartoons, because in those days, they made sure to put things in for all ages. Flintstones, for instance (for anyone as old as me) it should remembered, used to be A PRIME TIME SERIES when it first aired...so naturally there was humor in it for mom and dad as well.

I still contend that even though Animaniacs was a kid's cartoon, it was packed with humor and references only older viewers would fully appreciate.

Animaniacs was nothing but win. My favorite was the farting/burping concert.

Is it really impossible for some of you to just maybe get a chuckle of out of something and take it for face value and not http://www.leenetworx.com/smilies/blahblah.gifhttp://www.leenetworx.com/smilies/blahblah.gifhttp://www.leenetworx.com/smilies/blahblah.gifhttp://www.leenetworx.com/smilies/blahblah.gifhttp://www.leenetworx.com/smilies/blahblah.gif

While this is true, I must forgive some of it, as this is, after all...what do they call it? Oh yes; a discussion board.
