So what older games do you play that you enjoy so much, you keep going back to them now and then? Once again, some guys I work with and myself are playing Delta Force: Black Hawk Down at lunch time. It's one of those that we still find enjoyable, after all of these years.
Some other favorites of mine I could still find enjoyment in playing (if I had time and nothing else to do, which is pretty much never):
- Dune 2000
- Total Annihilation
- Diablo / Diablo II
Civilization 3, every few months for the past decade plus I get the itch to play a few rounds

yeah it never got much attention because it came out at the EOL for the 64. They tried to bring it back on xbox, but it didn't sell well from what I heard. I loved that game.
Most of the Zelda's too. Ocarina and the SNES one that I can't think of the name for the life of me right now.

heh i just installed diablo II LOD for a rowdy kid staying at my house. i played it with him for 45 minutes before he got tired. I had to immiediately uninstall it for fear of all the time sucking that would do to me.
I could still play M.U.S.H.A. on sega genesis any day.

Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour.
Been playing C&C since the original Tiberium Sun, but I still play this a few times a year.

L4D2. Repepative, but when you find decent players or people that don't take a video game serious likes TS their job, its fun.

Wouldn't consider L4D2 older.
Any game where there is a medic and team killing. Me and my best friend can sit there for hours tking and healing people repeatitively til they have no choice but to leave the server.

Damn I miss Delta Force. I wonder if I still have that one?
C&C was fun I wouldn't mine playing that again.
I find myself looking for Age of Empire a lot. I can never seem to find my copy when I want it.
James
It was Starcraft before SCII released last month. Now I doubt i'll ever play it again.
Oh, and Team Fortress 2.
Flexin, download steam, im sure Age of Empires is on there. And probably for less then 10$.

Battlefield 2
Gran Tourismo (any)
Burnout Revenge
I have more hours on Battlefield 2 than anything I've ever played. I'll still get sucked in for 6+ hours with a good squad.

WoW and the Monkey Island Series
I deleted all of my old games a while back but if it was still installed Id probably play Age of Empires every now and then.

Well now that you know what the question actually was (not what the abbreviated title states) what are some OLDER games that you find yourself still playing?

None really. I did get megaman legends 2. I want to go back and replay legends 1, then start 2.

Metal Gear Solid
I have the whole series, and I just got MGS: Peacewalker for PSP. Game is fucking amazing. Even better then 3 and 4, which were my favourites up to now.
Hard as fuck too.

I hated MGS2, MGS is still the best.

I have the iPod Touch version and the PS3 version. Trying to recapture my childhood, me, my little brother and my best friend used to spend hours trying to solve those puzzles when I was 10 . . .

No, 3 and 4 are the the best of the main series, and Peacewalker is the best of the whole series.
