and watched it prior to the Boise State vs Viginia Tech football game. (Nice to see Boise State stick it to a "BCS" conference school!)

Disturbing....absolutely disturbing. I have the book on my Kindle app now...I thought about the story all night...and have read all but about the last 30 pages or so this morning.

This one will be tough to get out of my mind, I think.

Has anyone else seen it or read the book?

It is not your typical "apocalypse" story...much more emotionally jarring...I finished the book over my lunch break and am still thinking through the story...the moral implications....the "what would i do?" type of questions.

Harsh....just a harsh story.

I read it via audiobook on a 9 hour drive last year, fitting since I was staring at an actual road the whole time and when I had to stop for gas at night on a two lane country road I definitely kept an eye out for cannibals

I do want to see the movie.

It's one of those books/movies about the end of the world that doesn't result in a stupid Hollywood plot of the hero rescuing some hot young broad, banged her then go kill a bunch of baddies.

I know right. Harry Potter books are way better than the movies.

The movie was good. I think I was one of the 4 people that actually saw it in the theater...
