Well the day has finally come. The Suzuki is officially titled, registerd, insured and in the possession of a new owner.

A guy came Friday night, in the dark, to look at it. He loved it. Came back Saturday and gave me a deposit.

Well...today...he showed up with the rest of the cash. I spent the day taking it for one last ride. Then I washed, waxed, and polished it. I installed fresh plugs on Friday. He's getting a really good bike. It'll treat him well...as long as he rides it...which is what I didn't do.

Sadly I forgot to take pics of it today all washed and clean.

I'm now a 1 bike owner.

You should have invited him to the site so we could still make fun of the guy with a pink bike...

Always depressing to get rid of one even if you like the other so much better. Was hard to let the SV go, but I love the CBARRR so much more.

I love the Buell...but I was a little sad to see him ride off. Felt a little down for about 10 minutes.

Then you looked at that piece of pure sex you have now and were like, 'fuck that pink bike.' That's how I felt at least.

U went from no riding... to a used Blast with who knows how many miles... put an insignificant amount of miles on it... now you have an R1 with some engine mods?... Good luck with that... :welcome2:

I put about 3000 miles on it, but the speedo sensor was out 2/3 of the time so it didn't count the miles. Not having a speedo was actually a good thing i think. It helped me learn to judge entry speed not by a number, but how I felt coming up to the corner. Huge jump, but I am taking it really easy.

I did as much as I could. They are also shitty ass dunlops that nobody makes the same size i needed.

Honestly, if i wasn't concerned with sport riding, and was only for around town, I would have kept the thing forever.

It sucks to let something go that you've had for a long time... the bright side is you have a new bad ass bike that runs well.

So was it a local person that bought Pink? Am I going to see it riding around?

Oh and BTW...I don't have any TWFIX cards either! WTF! LOL
