What shows are you looking forward to, and please don't say OCC :lol:
I've got a few that I tend to follow (Sanctuary, SGU, Supernatural, and a few others) but there's a new series starting on Showcase, tomorrow night, that I'm interested in seeing where it goes. It's called "Lost Girl" and is about a succubus who is trying to find out about her origins. Might be really good. Might be utter crap. Not likely to be anything in between.

I'm a season behind on Dexter, but I believe I have it all on my DVR, and my team lead at work has been getting them off Netflix for us to watch in our spare time. Breaking Bad... man... can't wait for that one! The season finale was brutal :hitfan:

I sorta wish that one had gotten picked up as a series, at least for a season. But then again, I always had a thing for Shiri :wink:

i must be missing a crap load of TV, I have heard only of 2 or 3 of the ones listed so far.
never seen an episode of SOA and think I saw an episode of South Park once 10 yrs ago.

Dexter mostly. Not too thrilled about it either since I do all my TV watching on DVD now. I dont like waiting a week between episodes and I cant commit to catching a show every week. (I have a DVR, Just never got into using it much :lol:)
Anyway, I downloaded and watched the first 4 seasons of Dexter earlier this year. Sucks that I'm caught up to the new ones. To fill the void I started watching Lost. I never watched 1 second of it while it was on TV but was always interested in it. I started right around the time the series ended. Season 5 Finale is next.
I don't know how you guys watch Sons of Anarchy. Too much pirate douchebaggery for me.

I just watched the entire series in about 2 weeks. I got the blu ray collection and started watching it slow and then got sick last week and watched a season a day pretty much. Was so sick I couldn't sleep and there was nothing better to do, couldn't even stand to play on the computer.
It made a lot more sense after knowing the ending and understanding it was just a character development show, not a mystery. Picked up on a lot of the theme a lot better too. Thought it was a much better show not having to really pay attention to the mythology of the props and just following the characters and theme.

It's like that Lost and Damned GTAIV add on pack. I tried playing that crap and it just pissed me off. GTA is awesome, but that addon was dumb.

Yea I'm setting my DVR for that Boardwalk Empire show. I'm going to try the Jr vs Sr show but, I watched a re-run of AC after Jr left and it was rather boring. With Mikey in rehab and no Sr/Jr conflicts, it's just another bike shop putting together "customish" bikes. I thought TB was okay but I think that they should have brought Russell to the authorities instead of burying him in cement. It may have helped their cause.

Actually, for the genre fans, it was really good in the first season. The second season was run during the writers strike, which really showed, and the producers even apologized for how bad it was. They realized that they should have gone on hiatus, rather than trying to continue, but didn't want to lose the momentum that they had built for the show. It never really recovered. Season 3 was reasonably good, but by then the audience was already gone.
And Ali Larter's body beats the snot out of Hayden Panettiere :p

The new Sr vs Jr is good only cause I enjoy watching the Jr stuff. The struggle to get the shop up, getting clients, etc. They could probably cut out the Sr stuff completely... OCC is a used up dirty, put away wet hag from some trashy bar. No thanks.

I like smallville now. I watched the first season or so when it first came out, but thought it was too WBish
But I checked out season 9 on I-tunes, and a few episodes are actually pretty cool.
There is an episode called Absolute Justice(two one hour episodes). They introduce quite a few very cool DC comic characters...Michael Holt, Sylvester Pemberton, Wesley Dodd, Al Pratt, Ted Grant, Jay Garrick, Alan Scott, Courtney Whitmore, John Jones, Carter Hall and Kent Nelson...AKA JSA
Another season 9 episode(Idol) had the wonder twins Zan and Jayna(Gleek was mentioned also), it was kinda cool since they stayed close to the comics.
So I am kinda interested in the new season of smallville...along with Supernatural. Will Sam get outta Hell?

BTW, "Lost Girl" wasn't too bad. It has potential. They went the Fey route, rather than the demonic one. The lead character's Goth-girl Gypsy sidekick is far more interesting though.

I saw it was on but it was already half over so I watched the last bit and then ran downstairs and saw it was being replayed at 1 am so I set the dvr to record the season. I saw the smiling guy and the caveman looking dude from the fishing boat both fight and win. :lol: The preview for next week looked interesting and drama packed for sure. Josh grabbing some big black dude...maybe an assistant coach by the throat ? :rofl:
I can't imagine living in the same house with the competition when everybody is cocky to start with. :lol:
