Cohen will be playing Freddy Mercury in a new biopic...I think Freddy was one of the greatest singer/showmen of all time and "Bruno" better not fuck this up. Freddy was such a complete entertainer and interesting person that I am very excited to learn more about Mr.Mercury, I just updated my Queen playlist last week and rediscovered my love of their songs.

He was a little too flamboyant. I never liked queen that much. There was 1 or 2 songs tops that I listened to.

I completely agree... I LOVE QUEEN! When I was little, I used to bust out my folk's old Queen records and jam out... still keep them as a permanent part of my playlist rotation...

I cannot imagine Cohen fucking it up... dude's a total clown, but he does have a serious side... My biggest fear for this is that they will do what they did with Ray and Walk the Line... have the actor sing the actual songs. Mercury is just one of those guys who has one of those voices that requires someone with true vocal talent to recreate.... unless of course they pick certain songs like We Will Rock you and shit.

It wasn't hard to figure out Freddie was a little light in the loafers-but I was shocked when I heard about Rob Halford.:tremble:

Hell Bent for Leather and Turbo Lover took on whole new meaning after that.

should be a good movie.. regardless of freddy's sexual orientation, etc. he was super talented.. i look forward to seeing the movie..
