damn for the past 20k mi, all ive done was ghetto repairs on my 95 neon...now @ 250k mi, its still running strong.

He had the piston out... Might as well put a new on in there. Everytime you have to pop open the top end of a 2 stroke, its new piston, rings, cir clip, wrist pin, and a set of top end gaskets without fail....... or you will fail down the road .. literally.
