Anyone found any really good deals on track day tires?

Nesba Track store has

Dunlop Trackday Tires, Q2, 120/70-180/55 Set (http://www.trackdaystore.com/Dunlop-Trackday-Tires-Q2-12070-18055-Set_p_925.html) for $234.95

I can't decide if I go for these or Sportbiketracktime stores Power one/Power race combo for $269.95 found HERE (https://www.sportbiketireservice.com/shopz/index.html)

In Canada I order from Pete's Superbikes. Insane tire deals but probably nothing compared to what you get down south.

I agree on Pete's. Best prices in Canada AFAIK.

But, nowhere near that deal..

There are some pretty nice deals to be found on 209 GPA's.

Metzler recently updated the Racetecs and I know they cost a fortune. Look around and see if you can find and of the last gen Racetecs. Before the the new ones came out they were starting to get pretty cheap and they were hands down the best tire I've ever used.

I've run 003's a few times and they were also very nice.

Sweeeeeet tire. Just went from a GP-A to a 003 medium and the difference was really noticeable. I have no idea where to get deals on them though, the only set I had I bought out of some guy's garage.

That's what paid for one set (180 rear) of 2CT's from Jake Wilson and $18 more for a set with a 190 rear.

Good price for sure on that tire.

VIR Full Oct 18

CMP Nov 20

You'll have to slum down in the http://tracktalk.nesba.com/images/smilies/icn2.png group if you want to ride with me though

Shoot, I'd get kicked out if I rode "I". That whole "no inside" passing thing tends to not work very well with me. LOL

CMP, that's STT isn't it? I'm definitely looking at that. For Oct I'm looking at doing Tally Oct 17th. No stupid membership fees, $99 bucks. I need someone to come with me though to split gas costs. The 99 bucks for the track day...not so bad. The 200 for gas getting there and back... geeeez.

Nope. I don't race @ Summit and have no plans of ever doing so until they repave it.
