So, we've all been walking around with video cameras in our pocket now for a few years. It stands to reason that if any of these things existed there would be definitive proof by now no? Whaddya think?

You would think so. Esp the whole big foot or lochness monster. Yet theres still shows that try to say theyre real and are out there.
I do believe there are other life forms out there somewhere, just not sure if they have been by us recently.

Does it rule out 20th century UFOs that look like hubcaps with flashing lights? Yes. Does it mean there arent real UFOs who are smart enough to hide from us? No.

I have seen a ghost when I was about 16. Didn't have a camera on me.

Same with me and a UFO, except I was 17 or 18. No, I wasn't drinking or doing any drugs. No, it wasn't a "flying saucer". No clue whether it was "aliens," the government, or some other type of aircraft. All I know is it was very well lit, so much so that I couldn't discern the true shape. It was completely silent. It was no farther away than across the road and hovering at treetop level. I stopped the car, rolled down the window, couldn't hear anything, so opened the door to get out of the car. I fully intended to walk over to get a better view of it. It flew away, still completely silent. It didn't take off at a high rate of speed, just kind of mosied on out of there. It headed in the direction of the local airport, where the local Air Guard is stationed. I'll never forget it.

I saw my great grandfather. I didnt know who it was, because I never met him. I explained the situation to my whole family over thanksgiving dinner. Upon describing the clothes and features, my grandma was like, "Oh god, that is my father."
I have an even better story, but its long. I'll be back later tonight...

I have seen my fair share of weird things only once I couldn't explain it, and I don't let it bother me. I still don't believe in aliens or ghosts, seen plenty of strange planes and boats just from where I lived with heavy military activity.
Was told once that the reason I will never see a ghost is because I am protected by them.
Don't matter, I got better things to worry about.
Ghostbusters is still one of my fav movies from my youth though.
I have seen one thing I cant explain. It was something large and white and it sailed over my car and did not appear behind it. I had a friend in the car that freaked the shit out.
If it was a bird it had at least a 9 foot wingspan.

I believe in the soul.
I believe in angels (good and bad).
I believe in spirits.
Trying to prove these exist with science may not be viable.

Ur ass? redflip
I saw a pair of them when I was a kid, we were in the south jersey pine barrens at like 3am looking for a comet (halleys maybe?) And I saw two objects that consisted of a bright white light with three red lights orbiting the white one in a clockwise triangular formation. Moved left to right across the horizon without a sound and was followed closely by a second one that was identical except for blue orbiting lights.
We were pretty close to mcguire/dix so I always assumed it was some odd 80s experiment

I think there is legit evidence out there but with so many fakes and hauxes...you have to rule out most good legit things captured either by photo, vids or audio.
An example I will give is when people see a "shadow" and turn to film it with a camera (usually in IR) or turn to look with a flashlight maybe even flash off a few pics using a flash...wont they drown out the "shadow" with the light?

Agreed. I'm not religious but I've had a couple of experiences in my life that have helped make me feel this way.
