Fayetteville just thought the Bama game was a big party. Now we have 400,000 people biking in to tear NW AR up for 4-5 days. Concerts, Bike and car shows, BBQ contests, partying on Dickson St. You name it it's here. Has it's own website but man is it a spectacle....

I'll be there...riding down Friday...coming back Monday. Staying in Cookson, OK...Should be a great time. We've got a 310 mile loop lined up for Sunday...NW Arkansas...SW Missouri...one last hurrah before the weather tanks out.

I keep meaning to make it to BBBQ every year, but it just never seems to fit into my schedule. Busy again this year.
yeah some arky fans were complaining about the pirates on the SEC forum I take part in.

It is a HOG pin event but as one of two AR rallies it brings in alot more riders of all disciplines. I see alot of sportbikes, Adventure tourers, trikes, and Goldwings too.

I passed a bunch of Harleys on my lunch break today. You know . . . passed them . . . on the highway . . . in the fast lane . . . on my 250  Guessing they were heading to AR.

The loop for Sunday....we did the north end of the Pig Trail the last time we were down there....Huntsville to Eureka Springs....it was ok but I honestly liked the roads in SW Missouri better. Suposedly, the southern end of the Pig Trail is tighter and more twisty. We'll see.
370 miles or so....should make for a fun day.

If you have a map you can follow hwy 16 out of Fay to many different spots. A good shorty will take you 16/74/295 across 412 and up wind up 303 or 45, then 12 to Rogers. 295 is scary fun.
Like you I love the Southern Mo roads. Anything East of Branson is a real treat with Peels Ferry being a favorite loop. Mo 86/160/125 to the ferry and down to Harrisn. roller coaster rds.
east on 16/21to Jasper is ok but it gets you to upper and lower 123 and hwy 7 which is the tits.
And you know about 16 down south on hwy 23, then east on 352,164, 103 to Hwy 123 and looping backward on 16/21...There are limitless possibilities.

So today I test drove Jeeps at the Off Road Tour. The Wrangler is a blast but the '11 Grand Cherokee is so Kewl! Very nice. Took a helo ride for 40 bucks, rode a train, watched all manner of bikes, and enjoyed a beautiful day with my 5 yr old...

I tell ya Kell, the Wrangler Unlimited was
one cool ride. It was the kewl orange color and with the half top off was fun. Neat things like sway bar disconnect and traction/stability control make it awesome off road. It is top on my list of next rides.
The Grand Cherokee was flat out awesome and for 36 big uns should be. It has features and luxuries you would expect from a much more expensive ride tho' very refined...

Thanks. Grand Cherokee is out of the budget. Nice to know you liked it. I've yet to test drive yet though so it may get kicked off the list.
