The guy prolly smokes himself. Now granted mj doesn't have all the added chemicals that cigarettes do, but it it's no wonder drug you claim it to be. Not to mention when you inhale something just after it burned, you are breathing in CO gas.
People can do whatever the fuck they want...just don't stick ur hand for free healthcare if you get lung cancer from the tar. This is the problem with this country. They want all these freedoms to do whatever they want, but want someone else to pay for the consequences. It's bad policy.

It's not the MJ itself, it's the tar it produces. You can spin it however you wish, but MJ has 20x the tar then cigarettes.

You can get cancer from anything, burning shit and inhaling it isn't healthy any way you spin it. I don't think it's any worse than alcohol and tobaccon though. I agree you should lose all benefits and either pay for it yourself or die a horrible death if you wish to smoke/drink and get lung cancer/liver issues.

Well when you make those you turn the THC into an oil and can use it in or on anything. One of the ways to break it down turns it into butter. Nothing like some pot toast in the morning.

I'm just talking about the plant in general. To even call it a wonder plant is insulting...its more like a...a....a...meh...I don't even have the vocabulary to adequately describe it's absurd amount of awesome.

Agreed, but there are some positive medicinal uses, granted not the 100% cure-all that some are claiming it to be.
Case in point, my father had a bout of cancer, had a real hard time dealing with chemo, lack of appetite, suicidal tendancies, rashes, weakness, trouble sleeping. He tried normal Dr prescribed pills but it didn't do anything for him except give him the shits. Started smoking half way through his chemo and started eating again, calmed down, no suicidal thoughts, got his strength back, was able to sleep, didn't help the rashes too much though, and the munchies he started to eat constantly prolly gave him the shits too.
Anyway what teh fuck, I totally support its medicinal use, and its recreational use, its better than drinking (doesnt impair your body as much or cause drunk texting), just makes you feel that Mmmm-Mmmmm good feeling inside. Unless you smoke too much and you get that hollow feeling in your chest.
Tax it like liquor, treat it like liquor, get rid of 99% of the illegal trade surrounding it, get a few million people out of jail for BS crimes (non violent/no victim ones anyway) and lets all smoke a joint, sing kumbaya, have a massive hippie style orgie, then go take showers so we don't actually smell like those dirty hippies do.

I don't think anyone here is disagreeing the plant itself has many uses. However, let's face it most smoke it to get high or relax, not to cure cancer, pain or live longer.

Uh, actually it contains about the same amount of carcinogens as tobacco. It's not exactly safe, but pretty much everything we eat/drink contains something that is going to kill us. We are going to die anyway, so might as well have a good time.

Well vaporizers are 3-400 if you get a decent one, and most stoners will never have that much extra laying around unless they sell a lot of weed. Honestly, IDK if bongs actually filter anything out of the smoke or not.
