Look up naval nuclear accidents on Wikipedia.

I wouldn't, his place sucks. Mine does also. You really don't want to wander around one of these. It's boring and potentially harmful.

They forgot to mention all of those times in which aliens messed with nukes

Pfft... I've almost killed myself and others over far dumber things then that. Regularly. Not hundreds of thousands of people, mind you. But im proof that dumbassery doesn't kill. Not always anyway.

The Fermi 1 incident has been severly overplayed so many times its not funny. The worst part wouldn't have been the nuclear explosion. What would have been worse would have been if the coolant, which in that unit, was Liquid Sodium, had gotten to the lake. Not sure if you have ever seen the experiments where the scientist drops in a gram of sodium into a beaker of water and the thing violently burns just from contact with water. And that was only a gram or so of the stuff. Imagine if the coolant had leaked to Lake Erie. Thousands of gallons of liquid sodium in the lake would have relatively nuked the surrounding area. By the time the partial meltdown had occured the safety shutdown systems were already causing the nuclear reaction to halt thus stopping any possible nuclear explosion.

You still won't see anything exciting. We make tritium and that's boring as shit.

I'm sure the tritium thinks it's exciting.

Not this stuff. It's for making bombs.

Not this stuff. It's for making bombs.

It multiplies the reaction, right? Or something along those lines?

I'd rather think about happy hour and large amounts of beer.

But I get the point :lol
