Supposed to be covered in toppings. Little window shows said toppings but everything else is bare.

The Walmart frozen pizzas that you can see the whole pizza are not that bad for a frozen pizza. It's the ones the make in house.

Greasy as hell though.

yeah, but good in a pinch. I keep them as backup plans in case the wife works late and I am too lazy to leave the house.

McCain's is on a big kick up here about not putting "non-food" into their food. Their frozen pizzas are better than half of the kind you can buy from a pizzeria.

I can't find it now. It was a box of raisin brands that said two scoops. Then a bowl of it and there was hardly any raisins in the bowl. I think it had "Where's my two scoops bitch," or something like that.

You don't know what you are missing. It's a nice change from the traditional.

Lately, I've been making homemade dough and cooking pizzas on the grill. Good shit. One of my favorites is:

- mix of melted margarine and EVO with chopped fresh parsley as the "sauce"
- mozz
- chopped up grilled chicken breast
- chopped up roasted garlic
- very thinly sliced cooked red potatoes
- fresh ground black pepper and parmesan on top

The Wal-Mart chicken bacon ranch pizza is a pretty damned good. I used to get the "self rising" variety but lately they've only had the square thin crust chicken bacon ranch. It's still tasty but I like thicker pizza.

The guy who wrote this book is an adv member. I bought it. Best damn pizza I've ever had. Made another one last night as a matter of fact.

Let's see a "real NYer" find a real pizza when there's 104 inches of snow falling in one weekend

It's ok in a pinch (ie when it's a blizzard outside and some dipshit has hit a utility pole and knocked out the power and you're running your house on a generator). ;)

I can't eat frozen pizza, I've never found a brand that tastes worth a damn. The sauce always tastes like ass. The biggest disapointment is DiGiorno, it should taste WAY better considering how much it costs and how it tries to act all "premium" and shit.

for that price, you can make the dough from scratch and put all fresh stuff together for a pizza. My dad used to make the very best black olive pizza. He'd make the dough and then let it rise for a bit and then grate fresh cheese and slice the olives fairly thick.
Damn but I wish he would have passed that freakin' dough recipe on before he died. :(

Out here we have Papa Murphy's, where you pick up a fresh-made, uncooked pizza and take it home and put it in the oven. Beats any other way of getting pizza, IMO. I don't have the patience to make my own, besides it's not like I eat this kind of stuff very often anyway.
