Stolen from a local forum

800 – the number of Michelin tires used by each rider over the course of a season; around 20 rear tires and 8 fronts at each race weekend.

1000 – the number of tires brought by Michelin to each European race.

5kg – the weight of a front tire.

7kg – the weight of a rear tire. 60° - the maximum lean angle possible on a dry track.

45° - the maximum lean angle possible on a wet track.

100cm2 - the total contact patch area for the front and rear tires: equivalent to a pair of credit cards.

5km – average durability distance for a qualifying tire.

100km - average durability distance for a race tire.

150 – number of components used to create a tire.

350km/h – the top speed reached by a MotoGP bike.

Unless the meters are wrong during a race on TV, I've seen riders get up to a 66 degree lean angle.

Couldn't tell ya. either way, that's a lot of lean.

yeah I was gonna say... I've seen Hopper exceed 60* on several occasions... Highest I've seen was 68*! fuck'n insane!
