Went to a rally today and had a rider go down. He was with us going to the rally and left early with two other guys. A group of other riders showed up and told us the story.

On the way down the cty road, there is a steep incline double S. He was going down it and moved over because a car was too close. He got into some rocks and he went down. His tank was at the top of the hill, his bike I was told flipped down a good ways and he slid into the ditch part. A heli landed on the road and flew him out. The guys said if he would have gone down a little farther down the incline, he probably would have gone over the side.

Yup. If he keeps it, he may be able to sell the engine and wheels. Maybe the swingarm.

heh i actually thought blackbird at first and then went to millenium era gixxer when i saw the extended swingy. shoulda stuck by the banana seat :lol:

Yesterday I was driving to my girlfriends house, but was held up because a Harley rider decided his bike was made to carve the road. Needless to say I watched as the helicopter landed and took off taking him to the hospital because traffic was completely stopped on the road. Moral of the story, don't ride like an idiot.

I was thinking millenium era gixxer too just because of the air intake, but the banana seat is what made me question that...

I think it had more to do with the rocks. I don't know too many tires that like an unstable surface.
