I don't like their gear choices.

However, the fact that it's not only smooth enough but also the wind protection good enough to even do that... awesome.

Nonsense.

You don't need to drop $20k plus to enjoy a good book.

That's cuz she's reading a book when she should be enjoying the ride. :lol

She should be able to do that on the back of that thing... Hell that thing might dwarf my Ultra.

Maybe he told her to and she declined. a friend asked me to take her for a ride and I said ok. I told her that I always wear a helmet and offered one to her. She declined. I wore mine, she didn't wear one. I'm sure lots of people that saw us riding thought the same thing you did here

My woman refuses to wear gear as well, fuck it. Not the first time a woman has made a bad decision.

No, I took her on the back of the bike once, argued about the importance wearing the safety gear she picked out and I bought, then I put the seat cowl on and told her its too much effort to take it off again so no more rides for her.

Yeah it is amazing how the seat cowl strategy fools non-riders

Many non-helmet states won't allow the rider to wear a helmet if the passenger doesn't.

Those things have electric centerstands, electric reverse, and I have even heard of one with electric training wheels. When pulling up to a stop the wheels drop down from just inside the saddlebags and hold the cycle upright while stopped. Then when time to go just take off and as you build speed the wheels roll long enough for momentum to hold the bike up and then they retract. I saw a guy pull up to a red light and never put his feet down. I figured he had good balance but my coworker pointed out the wheels. I was amazed and appalled. Training wheels on a motorcycle????:td::?:

How fucking retarded.... Probably eliminates all the room inside the saddlebags too.

O have ridden that bike. The LT is a great bike from almost any area you want to talk about. It is the Best Handling of any of the Luxury Touring Bike out here. The power plant is smooth and the tranny shifts smooth as silk. Appointment are on par with a Goldwing. ( I say all of this as a Goldwing Owner ) If my Budget would support it I would be putting a Dwon Payment on the the New 1600 LT. All of that said the Picture proves a checkbook doesn't buy skill or intelligence!

This man speaks the troof....

But technically speaking, these bikes are in 2 different categories. Sport touring vs luxury touring...
