So this guy wants $3500 cash, BUT if you want to trade he wants $4500 of trade value?

People get pretty nuts with trade options. "Hey, man, I like your bike. I have a sweet skateboard and half a ham sandwich to trade you. The combined value of them is more than your bike is worth, so I'm hooking you up."

Some jerkoff offered me door panels to a car I don't even own. The lowballers kill me though. Only asking 450 for my old pos buick and ill get messages saying ill take it for 125. Always tell the cheap fuck to spend it on shoes

Depends on how thick the cuts of meat are and how dry that turkey is

Its a simple matter of he figures people are padding a G on their trades. So he's back padding them.

Ok my best guess anyway.

Exactly

I USE to be a "list it for what you would be willing to take for the sake of a quick sale" kinda guy, but I had to learn the hard way to list high and be ready for lowballers.

If they want it, they will come eventually.

This guy's just learned the game.

It's a good game to play if you have time and room in your inbox. Ah, the power of delete.

Yep. When selling my vehicles, I have always had a set minimal price in my mind and would not budge any lower than that. In some cases, it takes a couple months or slightly longer, but eventually the right person will see the adverts and come knocking. Just takes patience.

Gotta list high and wait for the lower offers that are what you want.

Because he's asking for a trade, he's trying to get what he really wants value-wise, however he should've matched his asking price or left it out altogether.
