A few months ago the city repaved out little street racetrack so now it feels like its grated and very rough. Well...come to find out we are now running only 5-10mph slower, just letting the bike move all around (it feels like riding on dirt, but no slip). The road is absolutely shreading my race tires tho...tires look 2x as bad as the last track day I've done. This is def. an awesome learning experience with the front and rear moving all around...getting used to it like it's just typical riding.

the common backroad that I almost always take home when on the bike had that done spring of '09. I had never seen that before and there were no signs of the loose gravel till like 50 feet after you were already on it. I was into a nice gradual turn and started to hit that shit and almost lost the front end. That shit sucked, and all it does now that the loose shit is gone is make a lot of road noise. Whats the point of it?

Hell, here sometimes it seems like they leave the straight sections of some fun roads alone and only dump fresh chip seal in the corners just to screw with riders.

Fixed. In towns that do it right, they sweep it after it sits for a couple days. They don't do that here so that shot just sits there making roads treacherous as all hell.

They just fucked up this road near me. It looks like they tried to use a tiller on the damn thing but I think it is in prep to pour new pavement. I found it kind of fun when I was riding on it.
