View Full Version : I'm SOOO confused......
In many forums, us Marylanders are in the NE section ('cause we're snuggled up against Pennsylvianians); technically, we're the Mid-Atlantic....but according to this system I'm in the Southeast ('cause we're south of the Smith and Wesson...er ...Mason Dixon line:idk:).
Yes, I hang out with Marko (don't hold it against me; I like pink Suzuki's) but I also ride with a bunch from WV (now there's a down-home redneck, Yankee funnin' southern state)...so, what AM I?

Ya know...
I was up in Baltimore having dinner with one of my good friends and a couple of former work colleagues while I was home on R&R from Kwajalein one time....
And one of them said "God it's good to be from the south..." in which they were stating in referance to the Mason/Dixson line.
...And that was the moment in time, I found out that folks from Maryland consider themself "southern."
My god.... are they so wrong. No offense OTB, but y'all have "yankee' written all over yourselves.
Actually, I was born and raised in International Falls, Minnesota, and unless you are from Moosehead, Maine, you really can't GET any more Yankee than that.................
heh i always figured it was wherever your family was located during the succession that determined your redneck/yankeeness
