Today is a sad day ( I know some of you bastds will say good riddance LOL) but fungo moved on today. I had an inkling it was comming after he refused his last few meals and with rabby dying a few months back. Had him for just about 10 yrs now and this is the first time I am snakeless in wel over 15 yrs.
think karen will let me get a cobra for the minion
Even with my hatred for snakes, I do not like to see someone lose a pet. Sorry to hear about Fungo passing Tommy.

Well I knew you had one or more of those but I thought their life span was much longer...I guess the females typically outlive the males.
Nonetheless...sorry to hear man.

They also get a lot bigger, esp withthe large pythons. They say with burms and retics if its over 20 feet its a female :whatwhat:

Big mamas !! I was holding a retic at a local show last year while checking it out. The wife and I saw a documentary after that which had one in it and it was unbelievable how fast one of those suckers scaled up a tree...a big tree too. It was incredible. The wife was glad I decided not to get one.

I think I saw that one too, I remember a bigger retic flying up a tree. As they get larger they stay on the ground more but are good climbers and swimmers.
Retics usualy arent as fat/heavy as burms and annacondas so they can still be prety agile even at the greater lengths.
