I finally have a big enough battery to plug in some heated gear.

Any suggestions and if there are any black friday deals? I'm looking for xs or s woman sizes. Thanks! :)

gerbing heated gloves & socks.

Also consider the vest if you get cold up there but my back tends to get pretty hot once my feet and hands are warm.

Also look for wind resistant pants. They don't have to be heated, especially after you have heated socks and gloves, but they need to block any wind.

Amazingly Harley Davidson makes a wonderful windproof pant, avalible in womens sizes

There's a HD up the road from me and they have a good selection of gear and sizes. I was thinking of checking them out later to see if they had any deals. My friend got his heated liner there but I don't remember if it was gerbings or firstgear or some other brand. He let me wear it once and it was awesome!

They also make a nice selection of heated gear. With lifetime warranty on the heat windings. That alone makes it worth it's weight!

The HD store by me is selling the liner for $279! I just checked out the gerbings site and its the same price as the firstgear stuff so I'll guess I will be going with the gerbings.

I'll start with the liner, it doesn't get that cold here in Vegas, its just that I have no tolerance for the cold anymore. I can either get a dual controller in case I do end up getting other stuff or an on/off switch $14 to start but not sure what the output for the on/off switch is. I don't want to get too warm, last time I had my friends liner on which was way too big on me, I think he had it on the lowest setting and it was plenty warm so I am guessing I will be pretty toasty with a size that actually fits me.

Is that what you used for the gloves? You think I will be ok with the switch or should I just go with the controller? I'm poor!

If you're saying "poor", go with the switch. I think the controller is in the $70 range ( maybe $80 )

I got the switch so I could gear up, get on the bike and then turn on the gloves. Makes it easier when you go to shut down too, just reach down and rock the switch before shut off instead of finding the cord to unplug it. ( Gerbing says to start the bike then plug in and unplug then shut down to avoid added strain/draw on the battery )
