Marine, wife attacked by teens after showing of "Little Fockers"

MANATEE, Fla. (AP) — A group of unruly teenagers attacked a 27-year-old Marine and his wife who had asked them to be quiet during a Christmas night showing of "Little Fockers."

The attack happened as the couple left the theater near Bradenton Saturday night. Authorities say the fight attracted about 300 bystanders.

Federico Freire, home on leave from Afghanistan, says they left the theater shortly after the teens were asked to leave.

The couple was kicked and punched in the parking lot before a gun-brandishing witness told the crowd to step back just before deputies arrived.

Five teens were arrested, including a 17-year-old who struck a deputy and was stunned by a Taser.

The fracas caused the theater manager to close early.

I hate how the little fucks of todays society have gotten to the point where they are so unafraid of doing the wrong thing. When I was a kid we never even thought about doing something like that. Perhaps the occassional egg washing of a car or water ballooning, but to actually assault a man and his wife that asked you to shut the fuck up due to the fact that you were being a king sized douche and disrupting the movie????
Kids today need more of Mom and Dad's foot in their ass and not so much giving them what the hell ever they want so that they will stay out of thier hair and leave them the hell alone to do whatever it is that is more important than actually raising and disciplining thier children that they produced.
Again what has been said previously, 300 bystanders and only one with the balls and the motivation to do the right thing and step in. If I ever were to witness anything of this sort you can damn well be sure that BOTH my wife and I would have guns at the ready if not drawn to step in and stop something so appalling. I am astonished that a) there were so many no doing anything and b) those little bastards had the balls to assualt a young couple in front of so many people. Where are peoples morals?

Here's the deal though... all the bystanders were probably punk kids like these fucks... the theater around the corner from my house is crawling with kids from 12-20 every Friday/Saturday night... if the same sort of people jump in, it would have probably ended up just adding to the chaos... one upstanding citizen with a legally obtained firearm and the where-with-all to utilize it properly solved the problem safely. True but each generation has gotten worse and worse. My generation sucks as a whole. Everybody thinks they have "it" owed to them and have no idea what it means to "put in your time". I F'in hate it! The upcoming teenagers are worse than my generation. If we were the nintendo gen (not till I was a teenager) then they are the XBox Gen (since they were 6). They have zero outside the house skills. When I was a kid I was constantly outside playing baseball, basketball, tag, fort, etc. They play bball, baseball, and shooting on nothing but the video games.

Just as I was bitchin about on halloween and people's property. My generation has no respect for people and their property so what do you think they are not teaching their kids. It's a shame and the only sounding voice telling me to have kids. It's quickly muffled by hundreds of reasons not to, so I won't.
