It really doesn't suprise me. With how Daytona is trying to screw up Superstock/supersport etc racing. We'll be lucky if we have any professional motorcycle racing here in the U.S. when it's all said and done.

I believe part of it is Nascar buying AMA. They bring with them a world of standards. Suzuki has been doing what they can to keep their bikes built from unobtainium. Meaning, the parts just aren't available to anyone else regardless of cost.

Honestly though, can it get any worse than the Suzuki show it has been for the last 5 years?

Yeah- we could end up with the "Bike of the Future" like NASCAR has. It was a lot better (way back) when they used hopped up production cars.
