The newest system I've emulated is the dreamcast. Really depends on what you want.

Www.romhustler.net is a great place to start

Not sure about GC. I had a really good one for the original PS on my laptop, but when the HDD went, I built a gaming desktop and never bothered to find it again. But im sure if you google, you will find.

I remember GC games being piracy free because of the proprietary disk format though. You cant buy a drive that will read them, so its hard to pirate them.

Weren't the rogue squadrons on pc first? Maybe I'm remembering the wrong shit. Do you have a play and trade near you? They specialise in reselling old systems. One near me had a pong, n64, a lynx, and a ton of old sega shit.

Ya but those games people think are collectors or some shit and want full price. Fuck that. Theyre just a game to me. Ive found some torrents but i hate the ones with little seeders.

There was a rogue squadron for N64, but every N64 emu that I have tried sucks.

Got a gamecube with the RE off of craigs. Seems like the component cable is the holy grail of this system. Dammit! RCA hook up looks like poop on my 42" lcd.

Ya. Apparently you have to have a nintendo version for the component port to work.

So if any of you find one, please let me know. I'm gonna go on the hunt tomorrow.

I have an original XBox, soft-midded with a 300GB HD, with about 50 XBox games... and N64, MAME, NES, SNES, Genesis, and Atari emu/roms... Works WAY better than the computer because everything is designed specifically for use with the Xbox controller. That said, I know a guy who fabbed a couple of old SNES controllers into USB controllers to use with his PC and he says it works really well.

Like everything I own, the modded Xbox is for sale. :)

The "S" controllers are fine... in fact, after a while I began to prefer them over the PS style...

I dunno man, I've played with all three types and never liked any of em. The 360's gets close but the dumbass battery box kills it. Also not crazy about the asymmetrical sticks and digital only face buttons. I did almost buy a usb version for my emulation but went with a saitek ps clone instead, cept' I must have lost it on the way home from iraq...I just use my dualshock 3's on a usb cable with a little program that forces xp to recognise them now

Can't fucking wait for the new od green two tone one coming out with kz3

Um, I have a Gamecube and about 10 games for sale... I have the "S" video cord for it as well. The newer Wii cords won't work, huh? I'll check what I have in the attic if anyone is interested.

I have the rca/ S video cable. I need the component red/blue/green cable.

Im gonna go to all the gamestops in town. I think thw wii connect is shaped duffetent on the component (digital) port. The early cubes had both analog and digitslports. In 04 they look off yhe digital port.

Ehat games do u have my mix breed hotty?

The 360 controller works fine on PC.

Playstation has the dumbest modern controller design. I prefer my PS3, but damn its akward compared to the 360 controller. It just isnt ergonomic, period. The D-pad on it is greatly superior though.
